Roger the Sniper
The sniper is one of the best early game heroes,
with high damage when using the Fire Shot, he can one shot kill all creeps for a good while
He is however very fragile, and can't withstand much more than a few hits.

Skills:
Innate: Standard technique/Sniper Technique
Sniper Technique: Think of this skill as more of a description of the snipers basic attack. He has 3500 range and a shot that goes through his target a small distance providing him slight area damage. Just remember that you will have the longest range of any teammate for regular attacks so its your job to catch leaks. Also try to aim your shots so you will hit multiple enemies.
But you can't move while having this activated, if you try to move, you have to press s to stop, or target an enemy to continue fire at them.
Standard Technique: Will allow sniper to move, but only let him fire at a 500range, also he has no cleave damage when this is activated.
Level 1: Fire Ammo
This skill uses mana to increase the damage of shots fired by the sniper which allows him to 1 hit kill from the start to somewhere in the middle depending on difficulty. Level this skill only enough to 1 hit kill to save mana and what I usually do is save a few points so I can level it up whenever I want. Remember this can be auto casted.
Level 1: Lucky Shot (Passive)
Has a chance of 1 hit killing the target which increases each level. I recommend not getting this skill until the wave right before first bonus by using the retrain tome especially if your team isn't doing good. So you can instead get stats for mana and attack speed. Since you should be killing in 1 hit with fire ammo anyways.
Level 6: Grenade
Launches a grenade that does area damage but costs quite a bit of mana and isn't that strong compared to other caster skills. Useful if your team is in trouble, as it can kill or bring creeps health down quite much.
The skill is quite useful, but only early on when the team is in trouble.
Level 10: Rapid Fire (Passive)
Increase his attack speed as you level up this skill. Not much to say expect that this skill is not more important than doing 1 hit kills as 2 shots to kill isn't as fast as a sniper with 1 hit kills even with lower attack speed. Max it out if you need the attack speed.
Note: Later when you reached +200 AGI, you should relearn this skill and add points to stats instead for hitpoints & mana.
Suggested playstyle:
Sniper is a very good early game hero who may kill twice as much as any other hero ordinary does, if played right.
There is several ways to play Sniper, if you got some source to more money/mana:
Use his Fire Ammo to kill, if you are going to invest money in any items, spend them into Agility Ring(Zicon), Mana pots and if needed a Tribal Staff.
Try to always one shot kill the creeps, as that save mana and you kill faster.
If you play the sniper right, you shouldn't really need the Grenade much, but it is however a good spell if you need to clear lot's of creeps from a lane.
Buying gleaming longswords, spinerippers, bloodthirsts, telos or skull scullcleavers is just a waste of money. Since his ultimate already increases his attack speed and Fire ammo increases his damage more than any item could.
Or if you want to go a more reliable way:
Same thing as previous build, just different item build:
Instead of maxing AGI early on, get INT rings, STR Rings & AGI if needed, to be able to kill longer and more, sure you might not kill as fast as with full AGI, but you should be able to kill something with each of your shots, and have less problems with your mana and against offensives.
With this build get a few points in Rapid Fire to increase your killing powers.
Tips:
Fire shot requires a lot of mana, so try to keep you mana high by using pots and hisan salve.
I recommend to use small pots as much as u can up to 1000mana, after 1000mana, buy an Tribal staff to increase your total mana supply, after that, only get 2000mana pots(and more if you need later)
Watch out for mana burns, as the Sniper usually can have a ton of mana so, try to keep your health higher than your mana.
Always try to stand at higher ground, if you are stunned(or any other offense), the creeps wont have the time to reach you, and try to stand so the snipers cleave damage is more or less maximized.
Always try to stand at good spots for your cleave damage, one good spot is between Ring shop & Pot shop, as there you will have quite good cleave, so you might kill in average 2 creeps per shot.
Retrain your skills before first bonus wave and get lucky shot, so you can kill bonus birds, also after 1st bonus wave your Fire Ammo will be losing it's killing abilities, so it's a good idea to be prepared.
