Finairah the Moon Mage
Moon Mage uses a lot of mana if you spam Olkar
She does lots of damage and is one of the only casters that can keep both lanes free from creeps for a good while
But she is hard to play well with and has low hitpoints
Armor Type:

Skills:
Innate: Focus Moonbeam
Summons a Moonbeam at the targeted area, all heroes standing in it will receive a small mana regeneration. Is used for the Moongate and Burn.
Level 1: Dinazen Olkar
Her spam spell that is basically death coil and since none of the creeps (excluding reanimated ones) are undead it just serves as a damage spell. Early on it has low damage but isn't much of a problem because her basic attack can usually finish them off after they've been hit by one Olkar (depends on difficulty and how high its level is). At a certain point your normal attack will be useless in which case you must learn to spam it. The best way to spam it is to learn its hot key then shoot Olkars at creeps however many times it takes to kill them.

Level 1: Starlight Sphere
Summons a slow moving flying purple ball with the ability to detonate on a specific spot or unit. It deals massive damage to that one unit and damages creeps around the area of its detonation. Bunch them up yourselves by running around them while drawing their attention or have an ally do it for you then target the bomb on a creep in the middle of the mass. It's usually strong enough to kill all of the mass of creeps just remember its a slow moving ball. Don't wait until the last minute to summon it.
Note: Can be dispelled with two purifications, but usually only coordinated purifications from two Spell Bringers can kill it before its detonated.
Level 6: Moon Gate
All units that pass through the summoned Moon Gate will have slow cast on them and will be teleported to the area of the Moonbeam if it's summoned. When you combine this with Burn you can get even more creeps then with just a Moonbeam and Burn alone since it will teleport creeps to the Moonbeam and when you have Burn up they, well burn. If you find your play style makes you not use this spell then simply don't get it..
If you look at this Video you might get a clue on how to use Moongate with Moonbeam:
Creeps that go through Moongate will be teleported over to the other side, and get slowed down, and slows down the creeps on left side to, so this is a good time to use your sphere or just spam Olkar if you can.
If you can't watch it, try right click the link and save it to your computer, it's 5mb, and try opening with any of your players(i recommend VLC)
Note:Creeps With resistant skin will just walk through the Moongate without any effect.
More ways on how to use Moongate will be added later
Level 10: Burn
Deals extremely strong damage in the area of the Moonbeam affecting all enemy creeps expect the bonus waves and the only creeps it can't kill instantly are the past the second bonus. Very strong but hard to use compared to other finishing ultimates considering the area isn't especially large. It is important that tanks help to lure enemies into Burn's area as the Moon Mage can't take too many hits.
Suggested Playstyle:
There is a few different ways to play Moon Mage, one of them are spamming Dinazen Olka.
It damages/instant kills most creeps up to first bonus wave, and should be used as much as possible.
Using Moongate to slow the creeps down, teleport them to your Moonbeam is good, if you place the beam in the path where creeps walk on one side, and gate on the other, the gate will teleport the creeps, slowing them, and while they get slowed they will help bunch up the creeps on the other side, thus slowing them down.
If you want you could use the sphere to kill most of the creeps, or even activate burn.
Note: It requires some training to get good at spamming.
Item Suggestions: Tribal staff, Armor, Elite Elven Boots and Anti-Magic Potion.
Then there is another technique:
You can let tank take some punches, making the creeps gather around him, using only the Sphere to kill them, using this technique you will have more time to support your tank, offense, however this is a little more risky for the tank since he will receive more hits.
Item Suggestions:Elite Elven Boots, Armor and Anti-Magic Potion
The Moon Mage could be argued to be the best spellcaster to kill with, since a well played Moon Mage at any diff could more or less keep both lanes free from creeps.
But then again spamming require some practice, Moon Mage can easily be argued to be the hardest to play .
Things that you might want to know/find useful:
- When using Moonbeam related abilities make sure you know where your Moonbeam is since it is horrible if you have it placed near a teammate or near the goal when using Gate.
- When possible, have the Moon Mage stand under Moonbeam, when it's not being used by Gate or Burn, to help her regenerate her mana when using Olkar.
- Use Anti-Magic Potions when ranged creeps are spawning, since Moonmage is very fragile to offensives at that time, and it can be used for dodging various Offensive spells to.
- Use the Olkar on bonus birds, it's relatively cheap, if you use D to spam it on them they'll die fast.
