This is a reply showing some of the minor tactics of "spiked tree" a rounded melee hero. for either off tank or dps. we had a balanced team of casters supporters and melee. and i had a trader ( rusty ) helping to gear me up. with a mixture of tanking and dps gear. There was only one moment i died. which was when perma stunned. because i did not use anti-magic potions. because i was waiting for my bark armor. Only near the end of the game did it show when tree starts to weaken. the only bonuses i got were tombs and stat bonus. its only one round. 4v5. only a few leavers later game. the only offensive spells they used were battle spheres ( which got spell blocked ) or darkrift. which was either killed or instantly purified. To sum it up. tree is an amazing tank and dps early game. but once you get to the turtle round your damage will drop. and invincibility also drops. once it gets to zombies it stands just about no chance of surviving. other than large kiting while the Evoker did chain lighting. this is my first strat guide. go easy Attachments:

First of all this guide is generally written for no extra bounty, it was started in a version before modes and the game is still generally balanced for that. I have incorporated some eb games into the replays (just the 5v1 and the random one which is not a serious replay). The 5v1 with Entropist on Extra Bounty was also kind of for fun, but it still showed some of the stun timings Entropist could use, stall tactics of running around, and offense counters.
For someone like Spiked Tree incorporating a Extra Bounty replay is nice (I'm glad you uploaded this) but Spiked Tree under normal circumstances can not do as well of a tank as he did in this replay. His decline pretty much starts after the first bonus and in the replay it would have been better to support the Barbarian instead of Spiked Tree, though I realize Blue the Trader was probably your friend (after all he was in the 5v1 game).
For avoiding your death, I would always advise to get the Ironbark Leathers before T'kashi or Skull Cleaver. Additionally I recommend not to get the Spiked Tree's Back Fire aura until after the last stun wave specifically so you don't get perma stunned, including your allies.

Yea.... i guess i forgot to add the -eb that was lying around. this was my first game as tree. i was just trying it out. after watching the replay i thought it was worth throwing up here. p.s. i didn't choose the items. i just gave the money imo it wouldn't have been to much of a good idea to give the stuff to barb. not because of the character. but the player was new. this was his second game at enfos. ever xD
