Creepwall made by spells
The thing with this kind of creepwall is that it's more vulnerable to spells,
as tanking creepwalls are more solid in the way that the tank is always there.
However this is a good way to buy time to wait for an ultimate, or just to help with a tanking creepwall, it will not only lower the damage on the tank, it may also effectively stop/neutralize some offensives such as Stun, Arhat & Whole Displacement.
A creepwall can be formed anywhere there is 2 walls and creeps filling it, so you wont get all creeps hitting you.
You will probably need to work with your allies so they don't kill the creeps or lead them away.
Ohh, and should probably tell you that this works best against ranged units.
Left and Right lane is in Red
Mid is in Orange
Bottleneck is in Blue
All the colored markings on this picture is suggested places where you could do a creepwall, sure there's other places you could stand, but these are the ones in the creeps path.
Most recommended places to form a creepwall with spells would be The places marked with Red or Blue color.
First off I'll list the heroes who can make a average/long lasting Creepwall:

First off I'll list the heroes who can make a average/long lasting Creepwall:
- Ahlen - Cataclysmic Strike
- Ranger - Haraweb's Bonds
- Cleric - Holy Binding
- Warrior Mage - Ice Fortress
- Hypnotist - Mind Shout
- Barbarian - Trothfang's Butchery
- Time Mage - Time Stop
- Weapon Smith - Thunder Maul Quite bad as it has so high damage mid game.
- Entropist - Fist of Stone & Ring of Spears
Most of these skills can prevent most offensive spells to, such as a caster/tank got a stun/beer and need help quickly.
Ahlen:
The living creepwall, when he isn't Using his Dragon Dance he should use his Cataclysmic Strike to stun creeps around him.
Ranger:
Probably makes one of the hardest heroes to create a good creepwall with, as she only web's one target each time, and once a creepwall has been made, it's easily removed with purification, forcing Ranger to start over again, but ranger can almost always have some kind of creepwall up, as she can web creeps all the time, if she got mana and the creeps can be webbed.
Cleric:
Is able to hold creeps for a long time, unlike ranger Cleric is able to web many creeps at the same time.
Although the web may be purified, later on it will require 2 purifies to remove all web.
Warrior Mage:
With his Ice Fortress he can hold creeps at the same location for a long time.
Perfect if you want time for your tank to go combo a sword or ring!
Hypnotist:
One of the best skills, all you need to do is place a Moonbeam, and then you can wait until your team needs the extra breathing room.
His creepwall can be purified, but hypnotist can stand anywhere when he cast's Mind Shout, as long as he placed the Moonbeam.
As you might see, creeps are now forced to go around the wall.
Barbarian:
With his stun he can stop enemies for several seconds, it's not good on it's own to keep and maintain a constant creepwall for all waves, however it's practical at most waves, especially ranged levels if you can stun all of them.
Time Mage:
Some would disagree with Time Mage being able to create a Creepwall, however a Creepwall is just some way of stopping the creeps, and who can do that better/longer than Time Mage with one skill?
Weapon Smith:
His Thunder Maul can be quite useful later levels to create a creepwall, however it deals quite much damage, so it's not that practical using ONLY for the stun earlier on.
Entropist:
Entropist is one of the best heroes to form creepwalls with his skills, especially late game.
Using his skills he is able to almost perma stun all creeps when he has his skills at level 10.
