Something most people don't know how to do is count attackspeed, so we will explain it here: Well basicly max attackspeed is at ~400%. And in Mt edition attackspeed per AGI is set to 2%, 1AGI=2% attackspeed, that means when you have 200AGI you more or less reached max attackspeed. Attackspeed is NOT multiplied, it's added.
Example: If you buy a Polished Elven Telo, it gives +25% attackspeed.
You have about 200%(from 100AGI) attackspeed and you gain 25%, that means you have 225% attackspeed. Note: Some might think that you take your current attackspeed, 200%, and multiply it with 25% and get's 250%, but that is NOT the case, if you have an item that gives 25% it will just be added.
Note that this is a rather simple way to count attackspeed, and it's not 100% accurate.

Another way to calculate, but you'll need the exact cooldown for that hero.
1agi = 2% increase in attack speed, convert that and you'll have 0.02
Hero with 2.00s Cooldown and 20 Agility and 2 Telos: (2.00) / (1 + (20 x 0.02) + (.2 x 2)) (2)/(1+0.2+0.4) 2/1.6 1.25 Final Cooldown = 1.25 seconds
This is how you count the attack speed with help of his attack cooldown time.
I think this would be the most correct formula. But for anyone to calculate the hero attack cd he would have to know the actual number for that hero.

EDIT: Hey! Don't read this post I made! It's not true, I've done some research and my statement I made is false I just kept it for other who wants to read it, otherwise I would delete it Ok I gotta sort one thing out here so that players won't get confused... Max attack speed is not reached at ~200 Agility. I've been reading a lot of comments about this, and I wanna straight this out... I think what Mort is trying to say is that you can't get more than 200 agility in the Enfo's MT Edtition (?), and therefore have maxed out your attack speed at ~200 agility, but this does not - in any way - apply to any WarCraft III game. I know this, I'm an experienced map maker and I've played lots of 'noob'-made games where the agility can be any value you wish, as long as you keep on spam-buying tome books. Remember this! I don't want you start wierd theories based on false facts!

The max attack speed boost is reached at 200 agi.
Mort never said you can't get agi above 200, he just said you wont attack any faster after agi reaches 200 (or attack speed multiplier reaches 400%)
Again. this is a reading issue.

You can get Vic rings all day and get as much agility as you want. After you reach 200 you'r attack speed is maxed anything after that is just adding to damage.

Really good way to start on the forum I examined difference between 200 agility and 40 000 agility and you are right indeed... no difference. Is an excuse enough?' Don't know... my name is forever dishonoured

Don't know... my name is forever dishonoured Please dont be sorry, and I really have to thank you cause i think many ppl are also confused as you and me but they are just 2 shy to bring it up The most important thing is now we know the right way to calculate the attack speed The best way to learn or to discover new things is to doubt what u have learned or read Dishonored? man take it easy, there is no such thing! I admire your courage to bring this issue up and went over several posts or googled information to figure it out! pls dont let this make u hesitate to ask ur future questions:) Cheers!
