Steelrose the Paladin
The Paladin is a solid hero and very easy to use.
High STR, Fortified armor and Life-leech makes her a great tank.
Helps the team to survive Longer with the help of both Courage and Chadatru's Blessing

Skills:
Innate: Trothfang's Rally
Makes nearby enemy creeps attack the caster. Useful since with fortified armour you'll usually be the main tank and this allows you to draw creep attention off allies and onto you. Can also be used to draw leaked creeps back to the Paladin.
Level 1: Combat Mastery (Passive)
A passive ability that grants a chance to do double damage and a chance to evade normal attacks, the percentages when maxed out are 90% chance of a 2x critical hit and a 45% chance to evade. Not that great of an ability to have early on because of the low damage of the hero and the creeps. However it is essential to eventually max this out in later rounds.
Level 1: Courage (Passive)
This is an aura that increases allied unit movement speed and hitpoint regeneration. The movement speed bonus is good because it obviously helps you get around and run away but also since it negates the effects of the Cripple's movement debuff.
The Regeneration gives you 1hp/s each level of the skill, so at level 7 your regeneration it's 7hp/s.
Level 6: Chadatru's Blessing
When activated this skill will render your allies invulnerable, very good if you want to save a hero that has been subject to offense(like stun, cripple, beer and so on), or just want to help a caster like Moon Mage to cast her ultimate. However this skill will make enemies run past your allies, so make sure you're in a place to get the creeps attention, it will also remove any buff on the heroes, so certain ultimates might be dispelled.
Note: If paladin dies, when this skill is activated, watch out, it won't stop until the duration of the spell has reach zero.
Level 10: Righteous Wrath
Increases the Paladin's attack power and gives a life steal bonus for as long Righteous Wrath is active. Can often be enough to heal the Paladin for more damage then she takes. Use this like all abilities sparingly as the amount it can heal should not be wasted when you're not taking damage because of minimal creeps.
Status Gain per Level
Str +3.7
Agi +2
Int +1
Suggested playstyle:
Max out all abilities and use Righteous Wrath when needed.
Trothfang's Rally is there to get the creep's attention off allied units and onto the Paladin as her Fortified armor means she can easily take that damage.
Even if Righteous Wrath doesn't stack with other life stealing items, the Bloodthirst is still worth getting since her ulti will only be up for 30s and the cooldown is about 1min 10s, which means 40s without the skill.
Chadatru's Blessing should be used every time a allied hero might die, or when being immortal can help them in any way.
The regeneration from Courage is good but the movement bonus can also be useful for moving summoned units and heroes that have had Cripple cast on them. There isn't much to remember with the Paladin making her the ideal starting hero for beginner melee hero players, but also a solid choice for veteran players.
Note: It seems like even if Righteous Wrath doesn't stack with other life stealing items, it will still stack with Vampiric Potion
