All skills listed in here IS transfered and works on effigies.
Effegies can be targeted by stun/cripple/beer but the owning player won't get affected by it, well not anymore than that the effigy can't do much.
To get rid of an Effigy, just purify, or kill with your hero.
The most efficient for most heroes is to purify the Effigy, however there is a few skill's they have that can kill/stop them.
Note: all heroes with magic damage can be countered with Anti-Magic Potion.
All skills listed in Counter is ways to stop/kill the Effigy that worked in previous versions, not all skills are listed here, mostly because im not sure if they work on an Effigy, and i've excluded the ultimate's to as most, if not all, can kill an Effigy.
Combat:
Faenrae Champion:
Combat Mastery & Ultmate when activated;
Ultimate stays the whole time of effigy.
Useful to use on your own side as you will kill at least twice as much creeps.
Holy Warrior:
Sentinel's Resolve &[/color] Tipping the Scales
Useful for your own side if you need a second tank for a while.
Paladin:
Combat Mastery & Courage[/color]
Paladins Courage can be used as an offensive, creeps will get Higher movement speed & health regeneration.
Counter: Chadatru's Blessing if they Effiy someone else in your team
Ahlen:
Combat Mastery, Kaith'Audru(life-leech) & [/color]Apocalyptic Strike
Useful for your own side if you need a second tank for a while, ahlen can gain some health with his innate from his attacks.
Counter: Stun (Cataclysmic Strike)
Weapon Smith:
Combat Mastery[/color]
Useful for your own side if you need a second tank for a while.
Counter: Stun (Thunder Maul)
Barbarian:
Combat Mastery[/color]
Useful for your own side if you need a second tank for a while.
Counter: (stun) Trothfang's Butchery & just kill it as original Barbarian deals much more damage with his ultimate.
Magic Infuser:
All his passive skills[/color]
Useful for your own side if you need a second tank for a while.
Troll Cannibal:

Counter: Scalping Cry
Blood Dancer:

Support
Battle Chanter:
Combat Mastery & Failure of Forge[/color]
Used as an offense, he will lower the armor on the nearby heroes, thus making them take more damage.
Counter: Purification to remove it as soon as possible or use Chorus of Madman if it's no hurry.
Empath:
Divine Protection [/color]
Armor works on friendly side for heroes, it affects the other side's creeps, but only if they have resistant skin
Can be used as an offense to increase the creeps armor.
Counter: Purification if Needed.
Timemage:
Slow aura[/color]
Could be used as an offense, as it slows the heroes down, however it's best if none of the heroes has Haste on them if you decide to use this as an offense.
Counter: Haste and/or Time Stop
Trader:
Glittering prizes, the heroes get the aura, but it doesn't do anything.
Shadow Priest :
Shadow Art Mastery[/color]
Bard:

Hypnotist:

Rounded:
Sniper:
Rapid Fire & Lucky Shot[/color]
Useful to kill Bonus birds, or just increase the killing on your side, as an offense you'll have to take care of the other sniper quite fast, as his Fire Shot/Grenade might kill your effigy fast.
Counter: Fire Shot or Grenade
Spiked Tree:
Hardened Skin & Thorn Aura[/color]
Good to use as an offense, as the creeps will get Thorns Aura.
Counter: Poision Gas
Ranger:
Nature Lore[/color]
Note: See the wind was removed in 1.87
Good to use as an offense, however it's recommended to wait until ranger got a Nimsha.
Counter: Kill it with either wolves or standard attack, as your see the wind will kill it in 1-2 shots.
However Purification is safer.
Thief:
Evasion & Khri Strike[/color]
Venom: Gives the targeted hero a Slow Poision.
If used as an offense, Khri strike will be the main killing skill, and Venom will only give them a temporary slow poision.
It's a good skill if used with other skills that make thief miss or immobilised.
Counter: Go invisible and attack, or hope you stun effigy first with Khri Strike!
Entropist:
Sure Footing[/color]
Can be used for offense, however arhat would be better for the attackspeed.
Counter: Fist of Stone or Ring of Spears
Cleric:
